Dr. Sven Vlassenroot
Sven Vlassenroot (°1977, Dendermonde) graduated as a master in the psychological and educational sciences in 1999.
Since 2001 he works at Ghent University (UGent), specialised in sustainable mobility, road safety and traffic behaviour. He coordinated the ISA-trial (Intelligent Speed Adaptation) in Ghent and did research at the drivers' attitude and behaviour with ISA. Now he is working at the Institute for Sustainable Mobility (IDM) of Ghent University. In 2007 he started at the Delft Technical University (TUDelft) to finish his PhD about acceptability of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) (Promotor: F. Witlox and K. Brookhuis). At UGent he is doing research concerning policy aspects about the implementation of ITS.
