Reen Simoen

Reen Simoen (°1983, Brugge) is working as a research assistant at the Geography Department and the Department of Mobility & Spatial Planning of Ghent University. She holds a Master's degree in Geography (Ghent University) and a teacher training certificate (Ghent University).

She is currently participating in three mobility projects in Eastern Europe (Kosovo, Romania and Ukraine) funded by the Flemish Government. Despite differences in accentuation, scope and administration level, all three projects work towards sustainable mobility, participation and capacity building. She is also involved in a project funded by the Flemish Institute of Mobility (VIM), which deals with the consolidation of urban deliveries.
